I have decided after some thought to restart Defenestrated Records Net-Label portion of the website, it will come with free downloads and also maybe some re-releases of old artists too. I still have to start a website and get a computer, but I should be obtaining a new macbook "pro?" around the beginning of the year, if all goes according to plans.
Sincerely,
El. Defenestrated.

Radical Radio

Defenestrated Records was featured on Radio Bronka's FUCK THE BASTARDS show this last Monday. The show lasts a little over an hour and features artists such as CPRL, Mariko Sugawara, Comando Bruno, Sirens, Level, Gas Satori, Sascha Muller, and was developed from our continuing trade relationship that we have maintained for 2 years now.
I have a lot of interesting stuff from there side too and would be glad to make trades for it, I have a distro posted at the beginning of this blog, check it out if you are interested. Let me know if you want to trade some of your music
Hereis the link to it on archive.org

New : Level - Untitled

Level - Untitled New C-30 tape from Level or Gary Greer from PA. This is loud and obtrusive noise with scratching synth sounds - aggravated bass, the intensity is felt through the recording. Comes with nicely printed slick and glossy layout with color poster on the inside. Only $ 5.00 postage in U.S. add 2.00, only 50 available
distros get in touch for bulk rates - noise@def-recs.com
Level has been playing in the northeast lately with his behemoth of a speaker setup, I will post a picture of it on here if I get the time. It's pretty impressive and I'd like to see how he loads all that equipment. Make sure to support this great exp. artist and go visit his other net-releases, def-recs.com has 2 of them in the noise archive.

Gruuthaagy - Harsh existence

Gruuthaagy - Survival in a Harsh Environment - This is harsh wall noise but don't let that keep you away, the static is varied in depth. It remains high to mid static levels are clean and clear. The composition falls in the 10 - 15 min area, perfect for hard listening harsh music. It is psychedelic in it's delivery, and describes a way of life in a bleaker, less comfortable environment, a war torn existence mired by multiple existing economies of different religions. Keep this in mind while listening as it will help you understand the content of the noises around your mind and ears. Link

Caustic Castle - Live in Richmond - 804 noise - 2006. This release really shows how a live noise show ought to be, in 3 tracks Caustic Castle covers immense ground in his live improv no-input mixer pedal attacks. It goes from dismal and grim mid to low level noise that is listenable and complacent to the ears, to hi- and pink noise that dives into the ear canal and refuses to climb out. The harsher side of this release is very developed with multiple layers to his ultrasound textures, fizzle, crackle, hiss, and white dissonance all functioning at a very natural progression, being tweaked at just the right time to complement each sound adequately. All in all these 3 tracks are a great listen, Defenestrated Records eagerly awaits the opportunity to release Caustic Castle on a cassette. download this free release now!
